Global Payments Inc., a provider of payment technology and software, and Total Systems Services LLC sued former employee Michael Cottrell Thursday in Georgia Middle District Court over trade secret claims. The action, filed by attorney Nathan David Chapman, alleges that Cottrell misappropriated confidential information for his new employer Metrics Global. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 4:21-cv-00154, Global Payments Inc et al v. Cottrell.
