Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld partner Ira Dizengoff has advised director Jonathan Silvers since his 2011 documentary on Nazi hunters, so the New York lawyer did not hesitate to sign on to work pro bono on Silvers’ new film on the 1921 Tulsa race massacre.
“When he brought the Tulsa massacre on our doorsteps, I thought there was no more important story and a perfect opportunity to shed light on this,” Dizengoff said.
