The Georgia Supreme Court elected new leadership Thursday as a result of Chief Justice Harold Melton’s surprise announcement in February that he will be leaving on July 1.
The court announced Thursday the justices had unanimously elected Presiding Justice David Nahmias to succeed Melton.
