Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Harold Melton is looking for a new job.
Melton broke the news Friday to court staff and judges on the policy-making Georgia Judicial Council that he will leave his job on July 1.
"I do not now know what my next move will be. With this announcement, I can begin the search process in earnest,” Chief Justice Harold Melton said.
