High-profile Atlanta attorney Lin Wood, who was sued last year by three former law partners for breach of contract, fraud and other claims relating to the breakup of Wood’s firm, has dropped his counterclaims against his former colleagues in exchange for their agreement not to pursue anti-SLAPP litigation and related attorney fees against him.

The Feb. 3 notice of withdrawal of the plaintiffs’ motion to strike Wood’s counterclaims said he agreed to dismiss them with prejudice and that there “will be no petition for attorney fees attendant” to the motion to strike, which came in response to Wood’s counterclaims for defamation and false light.
