The Cobb County district attorney who was voted out in the Democratic election sweep of 2020 is moving on to a new role in private practice, but she is taking with her the justice reform effort she launched while in office.

Starting Feb. 1, ex-DA and former Cobb County Chief Magistrate Judge Joyette Holmes will join the Marietta law firm of Gregory, Doyle, Calhoun & Rogers as a member and partner. The firm’s clients include county and city governments, school districts and authorities as well as health care, media, real estate and manufacturing companies.
