Philadelphia-based foreclosure law firm Phelan Hallinan Diamond & Jones has permanently closed its doors, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to stall foreclosure work in many jurisdictions, causing problems for niche firms that were already rocked by the aftermath of the Great Recession.

According to a recording at the firm’s main phone number, the firm ceased operations as of Oct. 9. The firm’s voicemail was full and not taking messages, and its barebones website shows only a logo and a phone number.
