Brantley County Probate Judge Karen Batten is hospitalized with COVID-19 and on a ventilator, the president of the Council of Probate Court Judges said Monday.
Council President Kelli Wolk, Cobb County’s probate judge, made the announcement at a state Judicial Council meeting Monday. Batten’s husband is also fighting the virus in a hospital intensive care unit, Wolk said.
