Alston & Bird, which has had an office in Dallas since 2007, has now opened an office in Fort Worth and added six Thompson & Knight lawyers as the foundation for a broad-based oil and gas practice in Texas.
Darren Hauck, an Alston & Bird partner in Dallas who will also manage the new Fort Worth office, said the firm wants to build out a full-service oil and gas team with lawyers based in both Fort Worth and Dallas.
