Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School has named Jace Gatewood its permanent dean after appointing him interim dean on Jan. 1.
Gatewood is the law school’s first African American dean since its founding in 1933, succeeding Malcolm Morris. He’s been a senior faculty member since 2008 and held roles as associate dean for both graduate and academic programs.
