Public Defender Parker-Smith Takes DeKalb Superior Court Vacancy

DeKalb County voters selected a veteran public defender Tuesday to be the newest judge on the Superior Court, as Yolanda Parker-Smith handily led rival Melinda “Mindy” Pillow with 68% of 66,641 reported votes Wednesday morning, according to the unofficial results.

Parker-Smith will replace retiring Judge Clarence Seeliger.
