Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard, who is seeking his seventh term, faces a runoff Tuesday against challenger Fani Willis, a former veteran prosecutor in his office, following an upset primary where Willis garnered 42% of the vote to Howard’s 34%.

In an interview about his candidacy, Howard talked about his tenure, an ongoing GBI investigation stemming from his failure to disclose he earned at least $170,000 as the head of two nonprofits while serving as DA and why he remains better qualified than his opponent.
