Georgia voters battling to force the state to conduct its elections by paper rather than electronic ballot say the state’s newly purchased system has the same security flaws as the state’s current, obsolete and unconstitutional equipment.

The plaintiff voters and the Coalition for Good Governance sought permission from Judge Amy Totenberg of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on Friday to include the new challenge in ongoing litigation against Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and the state elections board.
