Already fending off lawsuits, Marietta-based biotech company MiMedx and former chairman and CEO Parker “Pete” Petit are once again the targets of litigation, this time by the husband of an ex-employee claiming an in-house surveillance operation set up to ferret out whistleblowers illegally swept up their private conversations.

The existence and extent of the surveillance, known as “Operation Snow White,” was made public in May when the company’s board of directors released an audit containing details about it and other allegations.
