Disbarred attorney Richard V. Merritt, sought in the weekend slaying of his mother, remains on the run four days after he was supposed to turn himself in at the Cobb County Jail to begin serving a 15-year prison sentence.
A DeKalb County Police Department spokesman said on Tuesday that Merritt, 44, is being pursued by the department’s Fugitive Squad.
