Georgia Law Schools' Enrollments Surge Past National Tide

Nationwide, first-year law student enrollment is up 3 percent, fueling hope that legal education's fortunes are turning around after an eight-year slump.

New enrollment at four of five Georgia law schools rose this year, growing faster than the overall 3 percent increase for the nation’s law schools, according to figures released by the American Bar Association Friday.
