A melee sparked when a murder victim’s family members attacked the accused killer in a DeKalb County courtroom spurred a mistrial last week.
The mistrial order entered Thursday by Superior Court Judge Linda Hunter said four or five members of the victim’s family joined in the attack on defendant Carl Williams, “blatantly refusing to follow deputies’ commands to exit the courtroom.”
