Co-chairing Arnall Golden Gregory’s real estate practice group, Althea Broughton represents developers and owners in structuring and closing housing transactions, focusing on conventional, mixed-income and affordable housing developments.
Broughton led the negotiations for her client, Mercy Housing, for the 79-unit Senior Residences at Mercy Park. Mercy Park is co-located with a health clinic sponsored by Mercy Care and provides access to critical health care for the senior residents. Project financing included state and federal low income housing tax credits, HOME funds from the State of Georgia and DeKalb County and Affordable Housing Program funds made possible by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta.
