On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to offer condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of H. Lane Young II, longtime partner with Hawkins, Parnell, Thackston & Young LLP in Atlanta, on his recent and very untimely passing.
During his distinguished career of more than four decades in the legal profession, Mr. Young achieved a national reputation as a skilled trial lawyer while defending businesses and individuals throughout the country in complex litigation. He earned many professional accolades over the years and was a member emeritus of the Atlanta Bar Association Board of Directors and a board member of the Litigation Section of the American Bar Association.
