Video footage depicting law enforcement officials’ response to the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland was released Wednesday afternoon following lengthy legal proceedings.

The Florida Supreme Court issued two orders Aug. 22 rejecting jurisdiction, leaving to stand two lower court rulings that ordered the videos to be shared publicly. The high court declined to grant petitions of review to the Broward School Board and Broward State Attorney’s office. The two groups had appealed to the state Supreme Court after two lower courts ruled against them and demanded the videos’ release.
