A South Florida woman has been indicted on drug trafficking and money laundering charges tied to allegations she tried to pick up $100,000 in a Miami parking lot for a Colombian cartel.

On Tuesday, Benjamin G. Greenberg, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida, announced that Sandra Milena Ruiz Arango had been charged with violating the Kingpin Act, a federal law designed to curb international drug trafficking.
