Real estate partner Bruce Wiener has been named managing partner of Broad and Cassel’s Tallahassee and Destin offices, succeeding longtime office managing partner M. Stephen Turner.

Wiener has been increasingly involved in the overall management and strategy of the firm and has more than 20 years experience practicing as a real estate lawyer in Tallahassee and across the state, the firm said. He represents buyers and sellers in the purchase of commercial, multifamily, acreage and timberland property and provides contract title and closing services on behalf of developers and public sector institutions. He also represents lenders in the preparation of loan documents and closing for commercial loan transactions.

“This is an exciting time for the firm, and I look forward to managing the Tallahassee office,” Wiener said in a statement.

Turner had served as the managing partner of the Tallahassee office since it was established 30 years ago and will continue to practice in the firm’s litigation and appellate groups.

The firm, founded in 1946, has 10 offices throughout Florida.

Firm chairman C. David Brown II said Turner’s leadership in Tallahassee over the decades had created a stable practice environment and excellent results for clients.
