New Jersey-based Cole Schotz is the latest in a string of out-of-town law firms to expand to Florida by opening a Boca Raton office.

The office will be managed by Linda Snelling, who previously chaired the estate planning and probate practice group of Sachs Sax Caplan and was a principal at the firm.

Snelling advises on probate and guardianship matters, including fiduciary, estate and trust disputes and taxation issues. Her experience ranges from advising on multimillion-dollar litigation to managing audits for Fortune 500 companies. She was previously a certified public accountant at two major national firms.

“We are thrilled to tap into Linda’s legal prowess and knowledge of the Florida market, and we are confident this milestone will benefit our existing clients while opening the firm up to new growth opportunities,” said Samuel Weiner, co-managing member of the firm. “We have a significant number of clients who split their time between the Northeastern Seaboard and Florida and who will immediately benefit from this expansion.”

Cole Schotz has more than 130 attorneys and offices in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Texas.
