Nine South Florida hospitals are suing a health maintenance organization for allegedly failing to reimburse them for more than $88 million in emergency services.
The hospitals claim Doral-based Molina Healthcare of Florida Inc. violated a state law that requires them to reimburse out-of-network providers for emergency medical care given to members of their health insurance exchange plans.
