Reciprocity is dead for Florida’s legal industry—at least for this year.
The Florida Bar board of governors, meeting Friday in Atlantic Beach, voted down admission by motion and reciprocity. The motion was made by Jay Cohen, a board member and Fort Lauderdale lawyer, with 48 board members present.
