Three years after entering the Miami market, DLA Piper is expanding its office space, taking a new floor at the Southeast Financial Center.

The global law firm currently occupies part of the 25th floor of the downtown Miami skyscraper. The firm recently signed a long-term lease to also take the entire 24th floor, giving it a total of 45,134 square feet.

DLA Piper is one of a string of law firms to expand or lease space at the Southeast Financial Center recently. Twenty-five law firms are based there, including Arnstein & Lehr, Bryan Cave, Cozen O’Connor, Squire Sanders Boggs and K&L Gates.

The 55-story Southeast Financial Center is the largest office building in South Florida.
