NAI/Merin Hunter Codman Inc., a West Palm Beach-based commercial real estate firm, has hired 35-year industry veteran William J. Kahn to head its leasing operations.
Kahn was senior vice president at Coconut Creek-based Butters Realty & Management, where he focused on tenant representation.
His decades-long career has seen him manage diverse portfolios for commercial real estate investors with land, multifamily and other holdings. It also included a stint overseeing a portfolio of 400,000 square feet of office space and 1,000 multifamily units for Houston-based Riata Development Corp.
Kahn also has represented Fortune 500 companies and other national clients in relocation and expansion transactions across South Florida.
Kahn served as project manager at Greenfield Group, a health care-focused real estate development company based in Boca Raton and as vice president in charge of Equis Corp.’s Fort Lauderdale office. He started his career working for Bank of New York and Chase Manhattan Bank.
“Bill Kahn has broad experience that will add to NAI/Merin Hunter Codman’s vertically integrated services and benefit clients establishing or expanding their presence in Florida,” said CEO Jordan C. Paul.
Kahn serves as NAI/Merin’s director of commercial leasing, working in the firm’s Boca Raton office.
