A $4.2 million award of legal fees in the Broward County citrus canker class action was upheld Wednesday by the Fourth District Court of Appeal.
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services failed on various theories to convince the court to reverse or reduce the award to plaintiffs attorneys with Grossman Roth in Coral Gables and Weiss Serota Helfman Pastoriza Cole & Boniske in Fort Lauderdale.
