Before Miami investors Scott Kranz and Erik Wesoloski met with two investors from Beijing two weeks ago, they learned some Chinese etiquette tips. It was the real estate professionals’ first dealings with Chinese investors seeking to buy distressed residential real estate in Florida.
The two Chinese investors reached out to the pair six months ago while looking at bank-owned houses, condos and townhouses to build a portfolio of rental properties.
