BankUnited has named Joseph Kissel chief information officer. He was senior vice president and chief technology officer of Wells Fargo Bank in Phoenix, Arizona.
Kissel, a 20-year veteran of the financial services industry, was also a senior vice president and director of application systems for World Savings Bank before its acquisition by Wachovia Bank in 2006. He was also a senior vice president for Wachovia Bank before it was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2008.
