Gov. Rick Scott approved a second loan Wednesday to keep state courts running through May as judges prepared to furlough staffers starting Monday.
The governor agreed to transfer $19.5 million from the state treasury to the courts on the condition it be repaid by June 30, the end of the fiscal year, Lane Wright, the governor’s press secretary, told the Daily Business Review.
