A Florida man was arrested Thursday by FBI special agents and other law enforcement partners on charges related to a scheme in which federal investigators said he operated fraudulent political fundraising websites, misappropriating donor funds for personal use.
Jason Pallante, 52, of Orlando, Florida, faces three counts of mail fraud and four counts of wire fraud.
