The Am Law 200 firm Carlton Fields, on behalf of Miss America and its CEO, Robin Fleming, filed a $500 million lawsuit claiming “a fraud monstrous in scope and harm.”
The civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act complaint was filed in the Southern District of Florida against Glenn Straub, Palm Beach Polo, attorney Craig Galle and Kathy Fialco. The plaintiff claimed that Straub filed for bankruptcy on behalf of her company without being the owner, but the "banker," and that the company is not struggling financially.
