Richard Simring, well known in South Florida for his legal writing, filed an Americans with Disabilities Act complaint against Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Robert Watson, Chief Judge Nushin Sayfie, the law firm Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker, and attorney Christopher Waldon Lee.
In November 2023, Simring originally sued Toyota Motor North America. The following month, Southeast Toyota Distributors filed a motion for an order to show cause, citing an email Simring had sent to opposing counsel, Robert Sacks. The email read, “And next time you take advantage of me, it will be the last happy moment of your life. Go f*ck yourself.”
