The U.S. Senate confirmed two nominees Wednesday to the position of a federal district court judge, making four Florida nominees confirmed by senators this week.
The nominees are U.S. Magistrate Judges Julie Sneed and Melissa Damian, who preside in the Middle District and the Southern District of Florida, respectfully. Sneed will preside in the Middle District of Florida while Damian will be elevated to a federal district court judge in the Southern District of Florida.
