A lot in Downtown Miami is reportedly set to sell for more than $1 billion, and observers say the legal work around the project, performed primarily by Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod, likely played a role in getting to that eye-popping price point.

The 15.5-acre lot is located within a mile of the Adrienne Arsht Center, Kaseya Center and popular museums, among other attractive amenities. But the waterfront land also comes with entitlements for zoning rights and planned transportation hubs, rights that involved years of petitions to several government bodies.
