"The outperformance in Florida was very evident," said Owen Burman, a senior consultant at Wells Fargo Private Bank Legal Specialty Group, which produced the report. "Florida is in pretty good shape for a strong first quarter."

Business of LawFlorida law firms ended 2022 with another quarter of revenue growth that vastly outpaced national trends, according to a nationwide survey studying legal industry trends.
Gross revenue for law firms throughout the U.S. grew by an average of 3% in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to data released at the start of the month by the Wells Fargo Legal Specialty Group. Meanwhile, the Florida-based firms in the sample raked in 8.3% overall growth during the same period, the highest average of all individual regions included in the survey.
