A global real estate firm secured approval to build a mixed-use development in Miami as the demand for more housing, hotel and office options continues to rise in South Florida.

The 2.31-acre site of the current Shuckers Waterfront Grill and Best Western hotel in North Bay Village will soon see the construction of the mixed-use project. Jesta Group, the real estate firm with projects in South Florida, bought the site seven years ago and has been operating the property since.
