Florida fraud litigators are seeing higher demand for their services because of an apparent crackdown on schemes perpetrated during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the uptick is only adding to the increased demand for legal talent in the state.

Although the government ended its Payment Protection Program more than a year ago, Florida prosecutors are starting to catch up to fraudsters that took advantage of the program and the general environment created by the pandemic. Whether it’s PPP loan schemes or Amazon drop-shipping scams, these cases are apparently popping up in court more often than in past years, giving litigators a higher workload.
