South Florida’s tech industry has seen increased interest since a pandemic-induced migration of people brought more businesses to the region, including some tech companies. And one group of beneficiaries are the lawyers in the region who represent established industries, including health care, finance and real estate, that are taking on new life thanks to tech’s growing presence.
It’s more than just proximity. As local tech companies continue expanding out of the region while others move in, industries that were already present in Florida have been intersecting with technology more and more. Whether it’s finance, health care, real estate or even fashion, a tech acceleration in the region is helping set the stage for a technology-driven melting pot of innovation.
