Wildfires are one of nature’s most powerful and deadly forces. The National Interagency Fire Center reports that so far in 2022, over 32,000 wildfires have burned more than 3.3 million acres in the United States. These numbers have already surpassed the number of wildfires during the same time frame (January through June) in 2021, when there were over 29,000 wildfires across the country.
For businesses located in an area prone to wildfires, the risks can be on the rise. So, it’s more important than ever to take measures to reduce the risks posed by wildfires to your employees, customers, business property, equipment and other assets.
