A team doctor for the Minnesota Twins is in the hot seat for the alleged wrongful death of an athlete. A malpractice case has been filed against defendant Dr. David Olson and his practice.

Plaintiffs counsel Gary Fox and Michael Levine, partners of Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain in Miami, are representing Christopher and Tammy Costello, parents of the deceased Ryan Costello. They are suing the defendants for Ryan’s death from a sudden cardiac arrhythmia, which they allege was brought on by a treatable cardiac condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, according to the complaint.
