CVS Pharmacy was slapped with a consumer class action Thursday in Florida Southern District Court over the company’s sale of cotton swabs. The complaint, filed by Salpeter Gitkin LLP, argues that CVS neglects to warn customers that the product is unnecessary and can cause ear injuries. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 0:22-cv-61244, Dampolo v. CVS Pharmacy, Inc.
