Luxottica Group, an Italian eyewear conglomerate with brands including Ray-Ban and Oakley, was slapped with a trademark infringement lawsuit Monday in Florida Southern District Court. The lawsuit, filed by Greenberg Traurig on behalf of Aspex Eyewear Inc. and Aspex Group Inc., accuses the defendant of marketing and selling eyewear using the plaintiffs’ ‘Takumi’ mark without authorization. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-21432, Aspex Group, Inc et al v. Luxottica Group S.p.A. et al.
