A federal judge in Miami has denied Akerman and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher litigators a multimillion-dollar attorney fee award based on deficiencies in its offer of judgment to a plaintiff.

The litigation pitted attorneys from Akerman and Gibson Dunn, who represented defendants KidKraft Inc. and MidOcean Partners IV L.P., against attorneys from Roche Freedman, who represented plaintiffs O.J. Commerce LLC and Naomi Homes Inc.
