Though South Florida is peppered with accomplished attorneys and judges of the male and female variety, women in law are still facing widespread gender bias, as Jasmine Floyd has reported.
Bresky Law’s president and founder Robin Bresky was therefore glad when Fourth District Court of Appeal Judge Martha Warner used a dissent to point out an attorney’s incorrect assumption about her gender, reminding legal professionals that, “We all need to be cognizant and remove from our thinking the male-centric image of lawyers and judges.”
