A jury awarded more than $400,000 to a man who claimed that he suffers a permanent neck injury as a result of a motor-vehicle accident.

On Oct. 22, 2017, plaintiff Liam Fellows, 17, was driving on the northbound side of Weston Road, near its intersection at Southwest 41st Street, in Weston. While he was proceeding through the intersection, his car struck the right side of a car that was being driven by Joseph Alarie, who was traveling on the eastbound side of Southwest 41st Street. Fellows claimed that he suffered injuries of his back, his neck and a wrist.
