The construction industry is one of the least diverse industries and is suffering from worker shortages as projects continue to boom in South Florida. But one company hopes to change that by introducing the field to young people who might not have considered it before.
ConstructReach, a workforce development company headquartered in Missouri, recently hosted its flagship event in Davie called “I Built This,” aimed at providing hands-on job experiences and providing Florida’s youth the opportunity to learn about the variety of jobs available.
