Since the courts have reopened from coronavirus pandemic-related closures, some South Florida attorneys say they’re having difficulties with defense counsel—even lawyers who litigate on both sides.

For Loreal Arscott, a solo practitioner based in Miami and president of the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association, for instance, the frustration has reached the point of her filing a complaint with The Florida Bar.
