Today David Nahmias is the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, but 20 years ago, when Congress passed the Patriot Act, he was one of the U.S. Department of Justice’s top prosecutors.
Starting shortly after 9/11, he led the investigation and prosecution of terrorist activity nationwide and internationally and helped craft counterterrorism policies.
